This spiral or wave design is associated with growth, life and energy. The inspiration for this ring came from carvings found in the remote Orkney Isles, Scotland. The original carving was a unit of three rings of sea scrolls, rich in both symbolism and meaning. In the ancient world the number three was sacred or auspicious representing strength. In true Celtic tradition the uninterrupted pattern represents continuity.
