Celtic Origins is a family run business established by Michael Strutt and Anne Sowden.
Michael, from the remote windswept Orkney Isles in Scotland, is Celtic Origins very own ‘Celtic jeweller’. Michael adopts time-honoured techniques in his craft and delights in creating new designs.
Anne, who has studied Celtic history and design for many years, has a passion for researching the history of Celtic symbolism and artwork and adopting it into Celtic Origins contemporary creations.
Anne and Michael spent over five years together in Scotland, seeking out the very best of Celtic jewellery to bring to Australia. They have exclusive rights to Scottish award winning Sheila Fleet Jewellery in Australia.
In 1995 the first Celtic Origins shop was opened in Elsternwick in Melbourne, shortly followed by a move to Armadale. In response to the huge demand a second shop was opened in Sydney.
Celtic Origins mail order service was established over fifteen years ago to cater for customers interstate and overseas. Following over a decade of outstanding customer feedback Celtic Origins now operates solely by mail order. The continued success of the mail order service is no doubt due to Celtic Origins excellent reputation and Anne and Michael’s dedication to sharing the very best of authentic quality Celtic jewellery.
